My name is Lorinda Antonello, a teacher and a professional artist. My works have captured the attention of many including corporate, private and public collections.
I boldly exploring all media and create without limits or boundaries! I have been featured in the publication “Nova Scotia’s Contemporary Artists” volume 2 among many. Living for the past 11 years in amazing Alberta I have enjoyed and produced a variety of painting subjects and most recently settled on Canadian women and a few select men from antique photos gathered from the East coast to the west of our beautiful country Canada! With a splash of colour and a dash of whimsy I reimagine these women to bring them back to life! My goal is make you smile!

ARTIST’S STATEMENT

I believe I am privileged to have my passion be an integral part of my everyday life. As a woman and an artist I see beauty in the pedestrian. The pauper and the prince each have their unique stories, each valid and worthy of expression, it is these expressions of humanity that compel me to capture and translate their stories, their faces, their lives.
