ARTIST’S STATEMENT

I’m a single father with an unstoppable drive to succeed in following my dreams and passions. I’ve conquered 3 back surgeries that should have left me paralyzed. But I’ve been granted a gift from a higher power to heal and rise above time and time again. NYC is my muse and love is the heartbeat which makes my work thrive. The city provides to me the missing materials and guidance to work with an idea and follow through with conviction. Many artists known to the world have crossed my path and I’ve done what I can to pay homage and honor them. My father and mother are both talented artists and creatives that protect and guide me from beyond the grave. My daughter provides the grounding force that keeps a dreamer like me anchored and gives me superhuman strength to persevere through all the trials of life to provide love and time the platform to speak to the eyes of the hearts within the viewer. I am constantly adapting and learning new techniques and styles to push me to new levels through my process almost on a daily basis. The experience of life is what I learn to live and the chance to show my work is always a blessing I am grateful to obtain.
