ARTIST’S STATEMENT
I’m a contemporary acrylic painter focused on the interplay of perception and intuition. I create paintings where familiar environments subtly obey impossible rules, and that influences the way you emotionally process what you see.
For example, a floating pool ring becomes a paradoxical form, architectural spaces bend logic, and folded geometric structures appear sculptural with an air of illusion. Through these visual shifts, I invite you to explore worlds that simultaneously feel calm, playful, and slightly unreal. Central to my practice is the belief that when done well, intelligence and beauty together can generate powerful positive emotions and serve as tools of inspiration.
My paintings balance the immediacy of joy with the delight of discovery: they start as seemingly recognizable and visually appealing images but continue to unfold with closer observation.
In other words, the more you look, the more you smile, discover and ponder its meaning.
