ARTIST’S STATEMENT
As an artist, I primarily work with oil, but I also enjoy experimenting with acrylics, ink, and digital art. Trained in Academic Art, I am captivated by the possibilities and depth of classic realist art, especially when breaking the rules after learning them.
My fascination with the female portrait and figure is not just a mere exploration of beauty, but rather an attempt to understand other people and their experiences. I believe that by exploring the human form, we can gain a deeper insight into our own nature and that of those around us.
Through my art, I seek to capture not only the physical likeness of my subjects but also their essence, their thoughts, and their emotions. By examining the complexities of the human experience, I hope to gain a greater understanding of myself and my place in the world.
As I continue to blend my academic training with modern techniques and seek to push the boundaries of traditional art, I invite you to join me on this journey of self-discovery and exploration.
