ARTIST’S STATEMENT

Her work has appeared in Nuit Blanche Toronto, the Happening Multicultural Festival, and exhibitions with the Women’s Art Association of Canada. She creates participatory art programs for newcomers, women, and children, emphasizing healing and empowerment. Following a 2025 residency with MUSE Arts in Colombia, she continues developing her abstract, expressive visual language through photography and painting.

I create art to explore belonging, memory, and resilience shaped by migration and shifting identity. Working in abstraction, I use layered textures, color, and movement to express emotions beyond words. My work transforms personal experience into shared visual language, inviting connection and reflecting continuity, change, and the universal sense of belonging.
