Rose Kendall
Rose grew up painting alongside her grandmother in Scotland. Having studied design at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design also in Scotalnd, Rose has now moved to Vancouver. She enjoys creating all types of visual art from digital illustrations to acrylic paintings.
ARTIST’S STATEMENT
I use painting landscapes as a way to connect to the natural world around me, particularly when painting plein air. Painting Scottish landscapes is also a way to immerse myself in the beauty of my homeland, capturing the fleeting light across hill, snow on mountaintops and moving water.
