My mother and my grandfather were both professional fine artists, so I started young. I majored in studio art at Bard College, N.Y. and art history at Columbia University. I have exhibited my paintings in solo and group shows in New York, Paris, Toronto and Midland, Ontario, but I still consider myself an "emerging" artist. After a detour of several decades when I worked as a writer/art critic, editor and publisher in newspapers and magazines in New York and Toronto I have returned to work on my art full time.
