ARTIST’S STATEMENT

As a visual artist working with wide-rang mediums, my practice is driven by a deep concern for the unfolding ecological crisis in the Anthropocene. The Anthropocene, marked by unprecedented human influence on the planet, compels me to explore the intricate relationships between humanity and the natural world.

My mind is consumed by the stark realities of biodiversity loss, habitat destruction, and the fragile balance of ecosystems. This awareness fuels my artistic journey as I grapple with the profound consequences of these threats.

In my practice, I employ the mixture of water-based and oil-based mediums to translate the complexity of ecological issues into visual narratives. The use of mixed-media techniques reflects my intention to evoke contemplation and engagement.

Through my art, I weave narratives that explore the delicate web of life, symbolizing the fragility of biodiversity and the profound impact of human choices. Each element in my compositions is a deliberate reflection of our relationship with the natural world.

I invite viewers to engage with my work as a catalyst for reflection and dialogue. It is my sincere hope that through these visual expressions, we can co-operatively confront the challenges of the Anthropocene and strive towards a harmonious coexistence with the natural world emphasize the importance of preserving biodiversity for our collective well-being.
