$600.00

Acrylic on privacy screen (framed).

30x40"

This painting is part of a larger series titled, aerenchyma. It is a thoughtful reflection of climate change and technology inspired by Robin Wall Kimmerer’s book, Braiding Sweetgrass. At this moment, in the Capitalocene, we find ourselves exhausted and worried about our quickly changing habitat and human suffering. This work, painted on a privacy screen offers a moment of quiet. The task is daunting, catch your breath, connect with others and come back when you need to.
