ARTIST’S STATEMENT

"Color is all. When color is right, form is right. Color is everything, color is vibration like music; everything is vibration."
-- Marc Chagall

At its heart, modern pictorialism is about transformation with purpose. It honors the traditions of artistic photography while embracing the creative potential of today's tools and technologies.
My work is about intentional transformation, using the photographer's tools to create an image that reflects an abstract vision rather than a documentation of reality.
The emphasis is on creating something uniquely expressive, not bound by traditional definitions of photography.
