Wadler Georges is a Haitian born American artist raised between Miami and Northern New Jersey. He works primarily in painting, using the human figure, bold color, and symbolism to explore identity, emotion, relationships, and everyday experiences. His work is influenced by his Haitian heritage, Caribbean culture, and the different environments that shaped him growing up. Georges has exhibited throughout the Tri State area, with exhibitions and presentations in Brooklyn and during Miami Art Week.

ARTIST’S STATEMENT

My work is about how we experience and understand emotion. I use the human figure, color, and symbolism to explore subjects like love, joy, anger, and the ways we sometimes misunderstand them. I am interested in the difference between what we feel on the inside and what others see from the outside. My Haitian background, Caribbean influences, and upbringing in Miami and Northern New Jersey all play a role in how I approach color and storytelling. I want my work to feel personal while leaving enough room for the viewer to connect with it in their own way.
