Park Place
666 Burrard St, Vancouver, V6C 2X8, British Columbia
Park Place is an impressive, 35-storey, Class AAA office tower built in 1984 and located in Vancouver’s financial district. It remains one of the city’s tallest office buildings and an integral part of the Vancouver skyline. The tower’s unique moulded corners and recessed upper stories with roof terraces lend a sculptured look. A five-storey cascading glass atrium creates an expansive, light-filled entrance that invites visitors in from the property’s one-acre outdoor plaza. The atrium showcases an exotic selection of foliage and an attractive water feature. Architectural company Musson Cattell Mackey Partnership (MCMP) designed the 450-foot structure with “Spanish Rose” granite over pre-cast concrete. Flush windows with reflective copper-rose glazing complement the stone and, even in the greyest weather, exude warmth and brightness against the city’s skyline.
