On a summer day, when it was very hot, I gathered some flowers from my garden. My intention was to capture the essence of the flowers, the blowsy, blossomy petals in shades of pink, yellow and white. Laying paint to canvas helps me immortalize the feeling of glorious summer days, all year long.
