My name is Ana and I am an emerging abstract artist working out of Edmonton, Alberta. Hailing from Croatia, I have had two driving passions throughout my life: creating and assisting others. My studies in language and literature led me to a career in education, where I use my skills as a Career Advisor and Coach to guide individuals toward discovering their own passions. As for my personal pursuits, I have always been intrigued by various forms of art, but visual arts and painting have always had a special place in my heart.
ARTIST’S STATEMENT
As an artist, I am drawn to the limitless possibilities of colour and form. My work is a celebration of bold hues and playful compositions that evoke emotion and spark the imagination.
My paintings are created through a process of spontaneous experimentation and intuition. The resulting artworks are a manifestation of the passion that drives me to create.
Through my art, I aim to inspire others to embrace their own creativity and pursue their own passions, no matter what they might be. In a world that can often be chaotic and overwhelming, I believe that art has the power to bring moments of clarity and beauty into our lives.
