Initially there was just a photo of Audrey Hepburn which Nestor found in the Value Village. The idea of remake was to focus on actress’s facial features, specifically her eyes, and highlight them with calligraphy around her. The phrase “Windows to another world” refers back to the eyes and means that they are the portal to actress’s soul.

1 / 4 experimental canvas from my “Emotions” series. This series explores emotions through colour and brushstrokes rather than typographic compositions. Wisdom is associated with experience, maybe even elegance. That’s why the best color for such canvas is purple in my opinion. It translates this state the best through its sophistication. The accent blue in this work doesn’t stand out as much as in the previous 3 pieces, however, it adds on to the purple letters.

1 / 4 experimental canvas from my “Emotions” series. This series explores emotions through color and brushstrokes rather than typographic compositions. Blue is the coldest colour there is. That’s why it was chosen to represent composure in my series. You should definitely feel coolness and control when you look at such color. The striking yellow, used for accents, has this electrifying energy, similar to how you keep composure in stressed situations.

Abundance or in other words wealth is represented through green color in this piece. Green is a calming color which gives you the feeling of having and being just enough. Together with accent pink, these two create a bright but relaxing contrast.

1 / 3 handmade poster created in a collaborative project with Finch Store based in Toronto. This piece is in my signature style. I made the composition more compact by placing the letters closer to each other. This helped me fill the whole page and create almost like a ‘wall’ of characters. Probably the least legible work out of 3 posters, but definitely my favourite due to its symmetry on the page.
