Brian Coutts
I've always found joy in marking up surfaces and creating. I won several awards in my youth, and was rejected by Emily Carr art school shortly after. I've been a teacher, construction labourer, designer, cook, taxi driver, bartender, bouncer, club owner and web developer, as side hustles to my true passion of being an artist. I used to prefer acrylic on canvas, but after running out of storage room I have embraced digital means of using traditional mediums.
ARTIST’S STATEMENT
My art is a creative sort of entropy.
