I am a visual artist based in Toronto, Ontario. I graduated from Ontario College of Art and Design (OCADU) in The Drawing and Painting program. I enjoy painting, as art and life do not separate. I lay down lines, strokes with contrasting forms and colors. My work of art portrays movements and energy.

ARTIST’S STATEMENT

Within a two-dimensional picture frame, I lay down my thoughts, merging time and eternality. As I am working through the cognitive and painting process, I encounter the spirits of hope. Confidence and passion replace the misery and hopelessness. My work of art depicts light pushing through the darkness and nature confronting the human beings. Art and life do not separate and color describes my mood swing.

I dropped small puddles acrylic paint of adjacent hue onto the canvas and pushed them in swift motion with a palette knife. Imagined that I squinted my eyes to look at the landmass from high altitude. I see land, mountains, streams, green fields and human beings is too tiny to be seen.
