Olessia Prescott
Olessia is a self-taught local artist creating abstract, modern art. Born in Russia, she always had an interest in art, culture. Always have been an artsy person, created her art, taking lessons of drawing and painting in Moscow give her base to start to explore that beautiful world. She moved to Canada in 1997 and ware working on her art as much as she can in a new country and new culture.
Despite her carrier as a hairdresser for over 25 years and being a mom of 4 children, ages 6, 8, 16, 19, she continues to work on her passion for contemporary artwork. Create true and honest art, she loves to experiment with different mediums and feel the canvas with deep meaning and feelings. Different colors and brush strokes show the different moods and states of her mind.
