Hailing from the former Soviet Union, I embarked on my artistic path in my youth, enrolling in art schools to refine my craft. Concurrently, I delved into Germanistics at the Linguistic University, culminating in the attainment of my degree.
My perspective and artistic approaches have been molded by a rich tapestry of life experiences spanning Ukraine, Germany, Israel, and Canada. These varied encounters now serve as the wellspring for my distinctive and thought-provoking artworks, aiming to both challenge and evoke inspiration.

ARTIST’S STATEMENT

Being self-taught, my artistic journey has been fueled by a profound love for art and an enduring fascination with blending colors. My creations revolve around themes encompassing history, contemporary life, and the intricate spectrum of human emotions and sentiments that serve as my muse.
My aspiration is to transport the viewer's mind to uncharted territories. To accomplish this, I employ diverse abstract styles, techniques, rich textures, and work across both canvas and wooden panels.
Numerous of my artworks feature intricate, labyrinthine formations of lines, crafted over extensive periods. Many observers liken these detailed lines to the delicacy of lace. Personally, I don't see myself as merely drawing but rather as a "knitter," intertwining lines to fashion my distinct pieces.
I aim for my art to kindle the imagination and encourage a fresh perspective on experiencing the world.

Did I ever think that I would live and work in this secluded hiding place of the Universe where the only road from here on out leads to space? Well, how can I forget these sunrises and sunsets of the weary sun, settling down for the night somewhere beyond Mount Masada, and this shimmering sea under the starry abyss? I enjoyed the melting air and overheated seawater. Strange conditions, but it was paradise for me! “Is this the end of the world? “ - a tourist from Germany once asked me in all seriousness looking with fright at the evening sun, which disappeared behind a dense veil of a sandstorm. The air turned a dirty burgundy color, and a group of puzzled landsmen visibly grew around the tourist. "Calm down! This is a khamsin with a sandstorm. It will soon pass!” The wind stopped. The air began to clear up. The dirty-maroon veil began to dissolve, and the outlines of the turquoise water of the sea appeared around, accustomed to the unexpected tantrums of nature. "Khamsin" - so I called this work, finished under the impression of my memories of the Dead Sea.

While autumn is not my favorite season, I still find myself fascinated by its unique beauty. The changing colors of the leaves create a mesmerizing display of nature's artwork, with each tree seeming to dance to its own rhythm. Sometimes the vibrancy of the colors can even be overwhelming, almost like a psychedelic seizure. But eventually, the leaves will fall and winter will set in, bringing a sense of calm and quiet to the world.
As an artist, I've tried to capture the essence of autumn in my painting "Fall Waltz". It's a tribute to the season's beauty and its fleeting nature, reminding us to appreciate the world around us while we can.

What is this about? It's about nothing! Even so, it took me a while to get it done. Layer by layer! One labyrinth inside another!
Python is an interpreted high-level general-purpose programming language. I don’t" speak" Python but this is all about Python right here.
I’m obsessed with languages and love the expression - "As many languages you know, that many times you are a human". The more languages a person knows, the more they are able to express themselves as a human being.
The painting was also inspired by nature, which is a common theme in my artwork. I use nature as a way to explore the complexity and beauty of the world around us, and the labyrinth within a labyrinth in this particular piece is a reflection of that complexity.

Well, I'll start with an ocean! "Dream Ocean" captures the imagination with its rich detail and captivating color. The swirling, dreamlike waves of the ocean are brought to life through the application of carefully crafted lines and dots, each one contributing to the overall feeling of depth and movement within the piece. The use of resin to seal and add layers to the work adds to the overall effect, giving the painting a beautiful, glassy finish that enhances the intricate details and abstract patterns. As you gaze at "Dream Ocean," you can almost feel the cool, refreshing breeze and the salty mist of the sea, transporting you to a place of serenity and beauty.

(From my diary)
"I am painting The Wailing Wall and touching its stones that are a witness of the ages. As many lines, that many days of work it took
As many colours, that many emotions! I can feel your energy. I can hear the pain and cries! I am not hiding my tears."
This intricately detailed painting was created with a meticulous hand-painting process, in which every line and dot was carefully crafted to produce the final result. The creation of this abstract piece required a significant amount of time and effort, with countless days dedicated to the precise application of each stroke.

To add depth and dimension, multiple layers of abstract lines were carefully applied, with each layer being sealed with a crystal clear epoxy coating. Some of the layers appear to float, adding an ethereal quality to the composition.
