Neon acrylic air brush and marker on vinyl-coated wallcovering / mural substrate.

28x38"

blood, sweat and neon tears
Inspiration
Born of late-night city light and the stamina of healing, this work carries the pulse of streets after rain—where grief, grit, and small joys glow like neon. It’s about resilience: how communities stitch themselves together through rhythm, movement, and colour.
Artist Process
No collage—just paint and pressure. I work fast and layered: brushing, scraping, glazing, and lifting colour; crisp masked edges meet loose, intuitive gestures until the surface “clicks.”
Physical Texture
Vinyl-coated wallcovering (paper-backed) with a subtle tooth under a smooth face. Raised paint ridges, scored lines, soft scuffs, and a satin finish catch the light so the image shifts as you move.
Further Details / Commission
From the series blood, sweat and neon tears, developed for Ottawa Dance Directive in conjunction with idfRNt® as part of iM DiFFERENT. Each panel stands alone or flows into a larger mural; recurring cues—electric pinks, deep blues, signal orange—create continuity when installed together. Sealed for durability; suitable for high-touch public spaces.
