“Angular Elegance” explores the human figure through simplification, geometry, and contrast. The elongated vertical composition gives the figure a strong presence, while the closed eyes and restrained expression create a quieter sense of reflection.

Angular shapes define the face and body, balanced by softer curves that move through the composition. Deep blacks, warm neutrals, muted blues, and areas of light create strong tonal contrast while allowing the figure to remain calm and composed.

The painting balances strength with stillness. Structure provides clarity and presence, while the simplified expression leaves room for the viewer to form their own interpretation of the moment.
