This scene is from Big Bend State Park in Texas. It stood out to me because of how frosty the base of the mountain looked in the afternoon sun. I wanted to capture a whimsical yet specific overall atmosphere: the brisk air and the melancholy of seeing the sun begin to set and the tips of grass around you turn white, almost transparent.
