This painting was done in 2020, when spring was finally here in the Ottawa Valley. I took a short trip out to this local conservation area and took many photos. I was totally on my own, hot sun, loud water rushing every where, the sound of a raven croaking in the distance. It felt like Nature was continuing regardless of COVID, lockdown or whatever humans were dealing with. I found this very reassuring.
