While walking along the slippery paths on Lot 56 in St. Albert, I began to notice the subtle beauty in the melting snow—how sticks left delicate impressions, how the colours shifted, and how the light changed throughout the day. These quiet details inspired an entire series of paintings. In this piece, the melting, glistening snow contrasts with the strong, stoic rocks that create a natural path, each one forming its own intriguing pattern.
