This large-scale work depicts a
man and woman embracing, their faces
abstracted into mask-like halves, dissolving
individuality into unity. At the center, close to
their hearts—a radiant circle expands outward
like sunlight, enclosing a world map. This
symbolic fusion of mixed media represents
reconciliation between East and West, the
meeting of cultures through love and peace.
Within Petals of Freedom, it extends the call
for liberation beyond borders: freedom not
only for the self, but for humanity as a whole.
