"Color in a Vacuum," came about after going through some high school year books, tracing my ancestry, looking at my DNA roots to art, with recent consideration of my past and how it is woven into my present. All those things put together (like the collage) has created this small mass of color and composition within the vastness of nothing-ness. Sometimes we feel bright but not seen, colorful but feel dull, alone but crowded, and empty but full. It takes that one person to make you feel colorful amongst monotony, to feel a purpose when you can't see one, to see opportunity for you when blind to all self attributes. This composition can feel that way for some, it can also identify that person that you overwhelmingly feel is a solipsistic person... someone who shines regardless of who they step on. They are noticed, condensed, a lot, or loud. So you get to pick what you see here.... but for me, I always felt like a shiny thing unnoticed with potential. :)
