This non-representational piece is an acrylic on canvas and evokes the emotion of a coral reef. This is a very personal and exploratory piece by artist Sarah Noda in which she used unconventional tools to paint in lieu of brushes. This work specifically utilized live plant materials, such as cauliflower and other non living items as painting tools. The creation of this piece explores lines between living materials and non living materials and was an artistic exploration in the use of non conventional techniques.
