My dragon series is inspired by the symbolism of dragons in East Asian traditions, where they are often associated with strength, protection, wisdom, good fortune and the forces of nature. I wanted to move away from the fierce Western image of the dragon and instead create something more fluid and graceful — using colour, pattern and movement to suggest energy, transformation and life in constant motion.
