Artist's Inspiration and Connection to Horses:

My journey into painting horses began as a personal tribute to my mother, who has always had a deep love for these magnificent creatures. Over time, however, my admiration for horses grew into something much more profound. I became fascinated not only by their graceful beauty but also by their powerful muscles and the way their soft manes seem to dance in the wind, embodying both strength and freedom.

In Korean culture, the depiction of horses holds significant meaning. Known as Bajundo, the painting of horses is believed to bring good energy, symbolizing health, vitality, and strength. It is often associated with wishes for prosperity, financial luck, and overall well-being. The horse, with its majestic form and noble spirit, has long been revered as a source of positive energy.

With each stroke of paint, I aim to capture not just the physical essence of the horse, but also the deep symbolic energy it carries. My hope is that my work will not only honor these creatures but also convey the same positive energy they represent—offering strength, vitality, and good fortune to those who encounter my paintings. Through my art, I wish to share these gifts of hope and positivity with you.
