Dream of Dancing Lovers began with a feeling—movement, rhythm, connection. I wanted to capture that fleeting sense of being caught in someone else’s orbit, where words fall away and only motion remains.

Working on white aluminum gave me a blank, reflective surface that felt like a stage. Using mixed media, I built up layers of texture and color, letting the forms emerge intuitively. The figures are abstract—multiple bodies intertwined, shifting in and out of focus—suggesting intimacy, energy, and transformation.

This piece is less about defined forms and more about what happens between them: the tension, the tenderness, the way connection can feel both chaotic and harmonious. Like a dream you can’t quite explain but don’t want to leave.

At its core, Dream of Dancing Lovers is about memory, longing, and the emotional language of movement—how it lives in the body even after the music stops.
