“Ecstatic” centres on the freedom of movement and the simple pleasure of losing yourself in the moment. The solitary figure moves with uninhibited energy, seemingly unaware of everything beyond the rhythm of the body.

The simplified surroundings keep the focus on the figure, while the flowing clothing, lifted foot, and expressive posture create a sense of movement throughout the composition. Greens, blues, and darker tones define the figure without competing with the gesture at the work's heart.
