This is a mixed media painting of black lace elderberry blossoming. It is painted in oil on a gallery-depth panel and incorporates elements of collage using gold-leaf paper. It ranges in style from very minutely detailed flowers to more impressionistic brushstrokes which create lots of movement and depth.
