This image is printed on canvas, stretched (mirrored gallery-wrap) on a 1.5” wood frame, with a rich, semi-gloss finish. The colours really pop!My logo is not printed on the canvas; I signed the back of the piece.

Among the many things I love to photograph, tipis hold a personal significance. No matter their style or setting, they bring to mind meaningful connections and experiences - storytelling, teachings, ceremonies….

I took this photo at my favourite winter festival – Edmonton's Flying Canoë Volant! I found the light within the tipi and on the feather absolutely captivating. Initially I produced greeting cards and small to medium-sized prints, however, thanks to a recent order for a local business I had the opportunity to create this 36"x27" size. I'm sooooo glad I had two printed - this piece is absolutely stunning! HUGE thanks to Precision Imaging in Edmonton for always making my work look so good :-) I am already planning to print some of my other tipi images in large sizes. (Yes, of course I want to print them all!)
