Flora is the Aphrodite/Venus of the greenhouses, Neoclassical marble sculpture of a girl at the cusp of being a woman. Throughout art history the image of the ideal representation of the female form has been painted in every period of art history. The Greek's being the first to represent the perfect super human elevating is to god like perfection. Wendy wanted to create a see through effect building this composition from plein aie study's outside the greenhouse, considering looking from the outside.
