Futur presents two buildings part of a futuristic landscape. The small building in the background is a representation of a spaceship on ground. The larger building facing frontal, Futur, is the main entrance of circus coliseum. This time Futur and the spaceship are accompanied by a bright sunrise.

This painting forms part of an earlier series, Tomorrowland Today. These imaginary cityscapes are a mixture of old and new constructions from various places, East and West. I have sought to bring centuries of utopianism and hope for the future together in a fantasized present, as that present might be created in an architect's or a painter's vision.
