"Highland Palette" was made immediately following a trip from Scotland. I happen to visit the area during the dead of winter and STILL the land was so alive with contrast and beauty. Basalt, Pete Moss, gray fog, patches of blue sky among the stormy clouds and dead but a beautiful red/brown/purple shrubbery. This scene is my interpretation of a cliff side in the Isle of Skye.
