Hummers in a Dangerous Time

I collected the messy, unwelcome walnut hulls from underneath by brother's trees and turned them into a lovely hand-made dark brown dye. Seemed fun so I made more from several different plants for different colours! Then I picked some leaves and flowers and laid them onto the Birch panel, poured the dyes over them and walked away to allow time and sunshine to help me create a Sunprint. The image created demanded two Ana's Hummingbirds to be painted in with some iridescent watercolours and more natural dye inks. There is no light without some darkness...
