Mixed media, paint, etching on aluminum.

I Remember Her Face is a piece that explores the persistence of memory—how certain faces stay with us, even as time blurs the details. It’s about seeing someone across distance and years, and holding onto the eyes that once looked back. The work hovers between closeness and loss, between the remembered and the unreachable.
Working on aluminum gave me a surface that holds reflection—both literally and emotionally. It became the right ground for a composition shaped by mixed media: a woman’s face partially revealed, fragments of eyes, the impression of presence lingering like a trace.
This piece isn’t meant to tell a complete story. Instead, it invites the viewer to pause, to search the surface for her face—and perhaps, to recognize the sensation of knowing someone by heart, even as they slip further away. It’s about presence remembered, the intimacy of a glance, and the distance that time inevitably brings.
