Influence Violet is based on a chromatic tension between a luminous cyan and deep violets that occupy the lower part of the composition. The surface has a textured feel, with micro-bubbles and frozen drips that attest to a fluid technique. Touches of carmine, pink, and ochre gold traverse the shadows, creating a visual density that evokes an underwater landscape or an imaginary map.
