Where the first Intertwined explored the quiet complexity of connection, Intertwined 2 moves toward energy and light. The colors are brighter, the gestures more confident—as if the relationships between forms have grown bolder, less tentative. The aluminum once again serves as both boundary and invitation, its irregular shape guiding the eye in unexpected directions.
Working in mixed media allowed me to build on that earlier sense of dialogue—between materials, textures, and moods—but this time with greater vibrancy. Layers of pigment and texture catch and reflect light, creating moments of shimmer and movement that shift with the viewer’s position.
If Intertwined asked what it means to reach out, Intertwined 2 celebrates what happens when that connection takes hold—when energy flows freely, and color becomes the language of openness.
