In Caribbean slang, maco (or macco) refers to a nosy, overly inquisitive person who pries into other people's business, eavesdrops, or gathers gossip. It can also be used as a verb to mean "to snoop or spy”…In my Auntie’s village in Trinidad & Tobago, life can sometimes be raw and challenging, but you can always get a small reprieve and maybe a chuckle to entertain and lighten your day with some juicy gossip!
