Lake of the Sky Tango is inspired by Lake Tahoe, a high alpine lake. From the east shore, there is a magnificent view of the higher west shore mountains. The Ponderosa Pine on the east shore stands almost still, slowly dancing in the wind, curling its limbs in sacred postures. The original artwork was much larger and is in a private collection. The image was created on canvas with a collage of various fragments of original printmaking with both thin and thick applications of acrylic paint.
