My oil on linen painting "Le Café des Rêves" was inspired by the magical café on the upper floor of the Musée d'Orsay in Paris. The restaurant was designed by the Brazilian design duo - The Campana Brothers.
Deeply rooted in Brazilian culture and traditions, their work carries universal values at its core, such as freedom and human dignity. By incorporating the idea of transformation and reinvention, their creative process raises everyday materials to nobility. My artwork echoes their aims. The woman seated in the whirling space seems to be in a realm of transformation and dreams.
