"Might Dream of You" came from the strange, drifting space between memory and imagination. I wanted to capture the way someone can linger in your mind—not clearly, but in pieces and impressions that don't always make sense.

Working with mixed media on canvas, I layered different textures, shapes, and colors to create a feeling that is both playful and a little unsettling. Some elements feel almost familiar; others are intentionally odd or off-balance, the way dreams often twist the familiar into something unexpected.

I let the materials guide part of the process, building up areas and covering, and revealing—mirroring how memories and feelings surface and fade. The result is a piece that’s open-ended, inviting the viewer to find their own story in the mix of whimsy, mystery, and a touch of strangeness.
