My Christian Dior: I Wore, Then Tore

I loved it. I wore it. And then I tore it.

There is something almost tragic about ruining a beautiful piece of clothing—especially when it carries a name like Christian Dior. But clothes are meant to be lived in, and sometimes the things we love most carry the evidence that we actually used them.

My Christian Dior: I Wore, Then Tore is less about the dress itself and more about what remains after the glamour is gone. The figure is composed and elegant, surrounded by flowers and saturated in warm gold and orange, as though she exists inside a memory of another time.
I wanted the painting to feel nostalgic without being sad. Fashion fades. Fabric tears. Bodies change. Years pass.

But for a moment, you wore something beautiful and felt extraordinary in it.

The Dior may have torn. The memory didn’t.
