“New Beginnings” explores the energy and movement found within a changing natural environment.

White daisies emerge from layers of deep greens, earthy reds, warm oranges, and passages of luminous colour. Loose marks, textured surfaces, and shifting forms move throughout the composition, allowing the flowers to appear within the surrounding colour rather than sitting apart from it.

The painting balances recognizable elements with a freer, more intuitive approach. Rather than defining a particular place or meaning, colour, texture, and movement allow the composition to develop its own sense of energy and possibility.
