Obon

Acrylic on canvas.

30x40x2"

Inspired by the Japanese tradition of Obon, this painting carries a heartfelt wish: may our ancestors return home swiftly on a horse, eager to reunite with those who love them, and journey back to heaven slowly on a cow, allowing us a little more time together. It is a celebration of remembrance, reunion, and the love that connects us beyond this lifetime.
