One Orchid captures quiet elegance through a close examination of natural form. The smooth, curved green shapes invite stillness, suggesting connection and resilience. Soft light filters through a blurred background, blurring boundaries and inviting contemplation on presence and absence. This subtle abstraction highlights the harmonious rhythm of growth and the quiet strength in vulnerability.

Creating this work was a personal journey, reflecting my son’s ultra-rare disease. Each macro-photo is from the same orchid, yet each image has a distinct presence, offering a new possibility and a portal into ethereal realms. I aimed to capture more than form; I wanted to find light and connection amid uncertainty, to embrace fragility without fear.
