Poinsettias in March

I was transfixed by how long the Poinsettias lived beyond the festive season; I decided to paint them from two different angles–I felt this plant deserved some recognition for its endurance. On the right is the beginning of an arch that encases a stained glass window. Emphasis was put on the contrast between organic shapes and geometric shapes.
