This new piece is about light breaking through—movement, release, and quiet strength. I’m playing with light and reflection, textures and layering until it feels like a beginning again. This piece contains texture as a base, then painted in layers with gold leaf, metallic paint and fluorescent paint as accents. The gold is reflected as an added surprise in a certain light giving an added dimension to the piece.
